Since Sigma introduced it’s new ART line and especially 35mm f/1.4 lens I totally fall in love! After one week since introduction 50mm lens i’ve bought it. Sharpness and contrast are exactly how I always wanted. Super sharpy since f/1.4, minimal distortion.
Review
Out of its superb sharpness this lens has one big disadvantage. It’s pretty heavy and big. Much more heavy than you thing. It was heaviest than my Canon 70-200mm f/4 lens. Build quality is great. All my Canon lenses looks in comparison with this lens like a plastic toy.
Update
I sold this lens because it’s bad bokeh. It was so much creamy for my taste. I love bokeh from Canon L lenses. Sharpness isn’t everything. This lens is best for product photography and for landscapes because it’s contrast.
